Dr. Andrew Hwang is board-certified by the American Board of Urology in general urology with subspecialty certification in pediatric urology. Dr. Hwang has been listed among the Top Doctors in Las Vegas in the last few years and was recognized in 2012 by the International Association of Healthcare Professionals as one of the leading physicians in the world. Dr. Hwang also treats adults with urological conditions. Dr. Hwang and his staff speak Spanish, Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese fluently. Dr. Hwang specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of urinary and male genital conditions and subspecializes in managing those conditions in children.
Dr. Hwang has special interest and expertise in reconstructive surgeries of the urinary tract and male genitalia, including congenital and acquired abnormalities of the kidneys, ureters, penis, testicles and urethra. He is committed to providing the highest standard of care in treating urological conditions. Dr. Hwang has extensive clinical and surgical experience.
He has published scientific papers and presented lectures at local, regional, national and international meetings in areas such as obstructive uropathy in children, neurogenic bladder, pediatric kidney transplantation and undescended testis. Dr. Hwang emphasizes personalized, affable, accessible and expert care. He personally sees all patients and does not rely on assistants in the diagnosis or treatment of patients’ conditions.
